This past week (June 4 thru June 10) was Hidradenitis Suppurativa Awareness week. We kicked off awareness week with a video created by Hope for HS and other HS advocacy groups. In the video we talked how our various groups support patients/caregivers, educate others about HS and raise awareness. Click the picture below to watch the video.
Hope for HS cohosted with the Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota and Embrace Health Nutrition LLC, two in-person awareness events in Minnesota and Michigan. These events were attended by patients, caregivers, supporters and healthcare providers. These events gave patients a chance to me others who were suffering with HS and also meet providers who were knowledgeable about the disease and various treatments.
